David N. Vance is the Director of Music at the 花椒直播 in Leavenworth,
KS. David鈥檚 teaching experience spans a wide range from Kindergarten through College,
in private, general, band, vocal, and strings settings. He is fortunate to have found
a home here at 花椒直播, where he can teach his favorite age group in a small, personalized
setting.
David鈥檚 musical versatility is demonstrated by a wide variety of performance experience
with the Fountain City Brass Band, Lee鈥檚 Summit Symphony, Kansas City Puccini Festival,
Kansas City Civic Opera, Piedmont Triad Jazz Orchestra, Atchison Jazz Express, Greensboro
Symphony, Greensboro Opera, Winston-Salem Symphony, Roanoke Symphony Chamber Brass,
National Black Theatre Festival, North Carolina Summer Rep, North Carolina Brass Band,
Triangle Brass Band, Triad Stage, Under the Streetlamp, Bel Canto Company, Market
Street Brass Quintet, Camel City Jazz Orchestra, and more.
Dr. Vance earned the DMA in Trombone Performance with a PBC in Jazz Studies from UNC
Greensboro. He completed his MM in Trombone Performance at the UMKC Conservatory.
He graduated with his BM in Music Education from VCU.
