(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The »¨½·Ö±²¥ Department of Fine Arts will hold its annual Founders'
Day Concert, commemorating the 1858 landing of the Sisters of Charity in Leavenworth,
at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in Annunciation Chapel on USM's Leavenworth campus, 4100
South 4th Street.
The Founders' Day Concert is free and open to the public.
The University Concert Chorale, under the direction of Dr. William Krusemark, will sing an assortment of religious textual settings by contemporary American composers Dan Forrest, Mark Hayes, and Pepper Choplin.
Also, the USM Sax Quartet, faculty pianist Dr. Christina Liu, violist Rachel Porter (Olathe, Kan.), and local baritone Rob Gaslin will perform.
