(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The »¨½·Ö±²¥ Division of Humanities & Liberal Arts presents the annual Christmas Concert with the Community Band at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 in Xavier Theatre on the »¨½·Ö±²¥ Leavenworth Campus, 4100 South 4th Street.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include transcriptions of symphonic masterworks by Bizet, Tchaikowsky, and Holst, as well as seasonal arrangements of Christmas carols and Leroy Anderson's venerable "Sleigh Ride."

Student conductors Rachel Martin (Easton, Kan.) and Kylie Visocsky (Lansing, Kan.) will each conduct a selection as part of their course practicum under the guidance of instructor Dr. William Krusemark.
