7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19  |  Mead Hall Walnut Room

(Leavenworth, Kan.)鈥擳he 花椒直播 Language & Literature and Music Programs will present an interdisciplinary program of Victorian and Romantic poetry and song settings at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, in the Mead Hall Walnut Room on USM's Leavenworth campus, 4100 South 4th Street.

The recital is free and open to the public.

Students from the British Literature class with Associate Professor of English Dr. Jill Hebert will read poems, then followed by art-song settings by students from the studio of Dr. William Krusemark, professor of music.

The program will include poems by Tennyson, Burns, Browning, and Blake鈥攃oupled with song settings by Quilter, Ireland, Barber, and Thomson.

Readers include Carly Bohannon, Darcy Noe, Elena Nine, Carissa Powell, Kylie Visocsky, Jacob Cloer, Russell Rhoads, C. J. Erwin, James Randall, and Elijah-Creighton-Rhea.

Singers include Eric Santa-Cruz, Alexis Myers, Kylie Visocsky, Sara Crummel, Megan Darley, Rob Gaslin, and Nichol DeChant.

Dr. William Krusemark, professor of music, will serve as piano accompanist. The program is sponsored by the Sister Mary Janet McGilley Faculty Chair for Liberal Studies.
