(Leavenworth, Kan.)鈥擳he 花椒直播 has once again been recognized as one of the best schools in the country for military-connected students.
USM earned a 2021-22 Military Friendly庐 designation from VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. The Military Friendly庐 Schools list has set the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses. More than 1,200 schools participated in the 2021-22 survey, with 747 schools earning the designation.
"We are extremely proud to receive the Military Friendly庐 School designation again this year," USM President Sister Diane Steele said. "花椒直播 is committed to providing support, resources, and academic programs that will enable military-connected students to pursue their passions and career goals."
Military Friendly庐 measures institutions' ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence, and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student-veterans.
"Military Friendly庐 is committed to transparency and providing consistent data-driven standards in our designation process," said Kayla Lopez, national director of military partnerships, Military Friendly庐. "This creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages colleges to consistently evolve and invest in their programs."
About Military Friendly庐 Schools
The Military Friendly庐 Schools list is created each year based on extensive research
using public data sources for more than 8,800 schools nationwide, input from student
veterans, and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly庐 Schools
survey from participating institutions. The survey questions, methodology, criteria,
and weighting were developed with the assistance of an independent research firm and
an advisory council of educators and employers. The survey is administered for free
