7 p.m. Dec. 5 | Annunciation Chapel
(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The »¨½·Ö±²¥ will present the annual Christmas Vespers Concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 5 in Annunciation Chapel on USM's Main Campus in Leavenworth – 4100 South 4th Street.
The performance is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
The concert, which celebrates its 42nd anniversary in 2021, will feature the University Concert Chorale, Vespers Chamber Orchestra, and University Community Band under the direction of Dr. David N. Vance and accompanied by Jonnie Brice.
The band will perform works by Gillingham, Mekealian, and Hanson. The choir will present pieces by Larson, Susa, and Rutter.

USM will also honor the Katie Mika Memorial Scholarship recipients during Vespers. The 2021 awardees are Albert Allen of Sulphur, La., Elizabeth "Libby" Beshenich of Leavenworth, Kan., and Keegan Glenn of Warsaw, Mo.
