(Leavenworth, Kan.) 鈥� In its 20th year, the 花椒直播 SpireFest Gala reached new heights 鈥� raising more than $400,000 for student scholarships.
USM held its premier fundraising event on April 22 at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. The evening included live and silent auctions, dinner, dancing, and opportunities to donate to student scholarships.
鈥淭hank you to all who contributed to the success of our 2023 SpireFest,鈥� Vice President for Advancement Mark Blanck said. 鈥淲e are proud to have reached a new event fundraising record in our 20th year. Gifts made during SpireFest truly make a difference in the lives of USM students, and we are so grateful for the generosity of many alumni, friends, sponsors, and USM employees.鈥�
The university also celebrated its centennial by honoring its founders and sponsors, the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, as the Saint Marians of the Year.
